What we do for children, and what we are honest about
Our nurse practitioner is a family medicine provider, which means she is trained and certified to care for patients from birth through old age. We are not a pediatric specialty practice, and if your child ever needs one, we will say so and make the referral. What we are is a small, independent clinic where a Evans family can get the everyday pediatric care they need from someone who knows the whole family. Newborn and infant care starts with a first visit that measures, examines, and answers questions. Well-child checks follow the usual schedule. Immunizations follow the CDC schedule. When your child wakes up sick
Call us first. We hold same-day appointments for exactly this, and a person answers the phone. Fevers, ear infections, strep, pink eye, croup, rashes, stomach bugs, and minor injuries are the bread and butter of a family practice, and we see Evans kids for them all week long. If a video visit will do the job, we will offer one so you can skip the drive. If the child needs to be examined, we will get you in.

Well-child visits, immunizations, and physicals
Well visits are where we catch things early and where parents get to ask the questions that pile up between appointments. We follow the standard well-child schedule from newborn through adolescence and the CDC immunization schedule for vaccines. Records are kept in your child’s chart and can be printed for school or daycare whenever you need them.
