Staying healthy in Windsor: what we watch for
Living in Windsor brings a few health risks that are specific to Weld County, and a good primary care provider plans for them. Mosquitoes around Windsor Lake and the Poudre River carry West Nile virus most summers; Weld County investigated 52 cases in 2023. All of Weld County sits inside the Front Range ozone nonattainment area, so summer ozone action days hit people with asthma, COPD, and heart disease hardest. And about half of the Weld County homes tested through the county health department have had elevated radon, the leading cause of lung cancer in people who have never smoked.
At your visits we ask about these risks, help you build a plan for bad air days, and point you to the county’s free radon test kits (weld.gov/go/radon or 970-400-2226). We can send prescriptions to any Windsor pharmacy on Main Street, including King Soopers (1520 Main St), Safeway (1535 Main St), and Walgreens (1480 Main St, at Highway 392 and County Road 15). Our Greeley clinic is about 15 minutes away by CO-257 and US-34.

We are less than twenty minutes from Windsor, Colorado. Our mission is to provide exceptional healthcare to all of Northern Colorado. Our primary care office is a full service provider and can help you with same-day scheduling and a level of care you will not find with the larger primary care offices in the area. We also serve surrounding areas like Greeley, Loveland, Windsor, Fort Collins, Kersey, Garden City, Evans, LaSalle, and Milliken.
