What we do for children, and what we are honest about

Our nurse practitioner is a family medicine provider, which means she is trained and certified to care for patients from birth through old age. We are not a pediatric specialty practice, and if your child ever needs one, we will say so and make the referral. What we are is a small, independent clinic where a LaSalle family can get the everyday pediatric care they need from someone who knows the whole family. Newborn and infant care starts with a first visit that measures, examines, and answers questions. Well-child checks follow the usual schedule. Immunizations follow the CDC schedule. Sick visits for fevers, ear infections, strep, rashes, pink eye, coughs, and stomach bugs are seen the same day or the next day. Sports and school physicals are quick and easy to book.

For older kids and teens, we manage asthma, allergies, acne, injuries, and the growing-up questions that deserve a calm, private conversation. Everything lives in one chart, and the provider is the same at every visit.

Same-day sick visits for LaSalle kids

Children get sick at inconvenient times, and the answer should not be a three-hour wait at a walk-in clinic. We keep appointments open every day for patients who call that morning. For some things, a video visit is enough and saves you the drive; for others, we want to see the child in person, and we will tell you which.

Records are kept in your child’s chart and can be printed for school or daycare whenever you need them.

Insurance, Medicaid, and cost

We accept Medicaid, Medicare, and most major insurance plans, and we welcome families on Health First Colorado. If your child is uninsured, ask about self-pay pricing when you call. Well-child visits and immunizations are covered as preventive care under most plans. We will tell you what to expect before the visit, not on a bill afterward.
